Assignment

Here is a recap of what we discussed in class on Friday, November 8th:

The six weeks we agreed we would spend exploring our options for our spring production have passed, and we have agreed we want to perform an original ensemble piece. Much of the general outline has already been decided, and now it's time to get it all down on paper. It's also time to confirm the date for the performance, tentatively set for Friday, May 8, 2020.

My assignments are to 1) share an initial draft of the play with you via Google docs that is based on our discussions and improvisations to this point; and 2) reserve the multipurpose room for the date of our performance.

Your assignments are to 1) find and begin memorizing a short monologue that will help you develop your character; and 2) confirm your availability and commitment to perform on May 8.

If you need help finding a monologue, please let me know via email before Friday, November 15: deufusia@orchardviewschool.org. I would like to begin working with these in class that day.
