Dear OVS Community,

During this time OVS is committed to helping you continue with your independent studies and providing you with educational resources.

The OVS campus is closed through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The OVS office can be reached via email:

If you have any questions regarding school operations, please email me at and include your phone number if you would like me to contact you by phone. For questions regarding schoolwork, please contact your OVS Supervising Teacher. Contact information is available on the Staff Directory.

K-8th Grade Students:

During this time students and families in grades K-8 do not need to keep engagement calendars, or submit work samples.

As experienced homeschooling families, we know that you already have established routines and curriculum to guide your studies. We are working hard to provide additional resources, links and instructional ideas.

Supervising Teachers will be available via email to help with pacing and assignments. On-site class teachers will have optional lessons, links, and/or project ideas posted on their class pages.

For students in 7& 8th grade Math Classes, assignments and distance learning instructions will be posted on the OVS website class pages. All students in Grade 8 and students in Grade 7 wanting to place into will have access to Teaching Textbooks, an online math program for the rest of the school year and throughout the summer.  Please contact for information regarding Teaching Textbooks. Math placement for Math 1 will be postponed until the fall.

9-12th Grade Students:
